The thought that life can be valued at all is really scary, but look on the bright side: the AP also notes that "the EPA places the highest amount of value on a human life of any government agency."
Wow, that makes me feel a whole lot better.

That's interesting. I wonder if that's because in the last decade my potential to become an actual millionare has decreased by about 11 percent?
or maybe the ratio of all wealth globally to the number of people globally has shifted.
or maybe the gov't hates us.
